At a ceremony celebrating the arrival of our first new D Model, Boeing and the Army welcomed D Model Chinook 

S/N 90-0212. The Saturday event included a giant American Flag backdrop in front of 212, a red carpet, and an official hand-over of the logbook and keys to Major Loper and Flight Engineer Dave Swanson. A brass quartet and dedication cake added a touch of class to the event. Family and friends were invited to attend.
